Some Things We’d Like you to Know

What do people love most about your congregation?

Mount Lebanon was founded in 1853 and has had the doors open for 162 years welcoming all. We have a beautiful rural setting, 3 miles from Interstate highway I-65.

We have a long history in the surronding community. The Congregation consists of 5 generations and we support, and depend upon, the youth of our church for leadership. We are committed to, and have had a long relationship with the Students of Louisville Presbyterian Seminary to fill our pulpit.

In what ways are you making a difference (or hope to make a difference) in your community?

We provide a small playground, a Cemetery and are active in Children at Risk donations to the Henryville Elementary School. We participate in the Henryville Food Pantry and the Community Center.

What else do you want your next pastor to know about your congregation?

We are open to change! We would like to increase our membership. We want our church to live another 100 years.
