The September Assembly will be held at the United Presbyterian Church in Bloomington. Registration will begin at 9am ET (8am CT), and the meeting will begin at 10am ET. Dear Sisters and Brothers of the Presbytery of Ohio Valley,
The Assembly’s Search Committee to Nominate a Presbyter for Common Life has requested a Called Meeting of the Presbytery for July 22, 2009. The meeting is called for 3:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Church.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the report of the Search Committee and act on the recommendations. The recommendations will include submission of a nominee for the position of Presbyter for Common Life.

I anticipate that the meeting will last from 3:00 till 6:00 p.m. including worship and a shared meal.

During the next few days, another communication will follow this one. The name, professional and personal information, and proposed terms of call will be a part of the second communication.
